Right-Wing Religious Ranters...
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/vote-obama-go-hell
GOP On Life Support?
If it was in hospital on life support, it wouldn't want the machine turned off, no siree, it would want friends and family to cough up their life savings to keep it alive as long as possible.
When that didn't work it would go begging in the streets at strangers. Except that, in the case of the GOP ranters (and of course not everyone in the GOP is a ranter), they would try to get support by shouting and screaming 'communist' , 'Marxist' and 'socialist' at Obama and the Dems at every opportunity, instead of engaging meaningful discussion or intelligent argument
Obama vs McCain Tax Plans

According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in cuts for most American families. Obama's plan gives the biggest cuts to those who make the least, while McCain would give the largest cuts to the very wealthy. For the approximately 147,000 families that make up the top 0.1 percent of the income scale, the difference between the two plans is stark. While McCain offers a $269,364 tax cut, Obama would raise their taxes, on average, by $701,885 - a difference of nearly $1 million.

As the World Watches......
Assassination Plot Foiled
ATF: Plot by skinheads to kill Obama is foiled
Two Neo-Nazis held in Tennessee, allegedly also planned to kill dozens
WASHINGTON - A plot by two Neo-Nazi skinheads to assassinate Barack Obama and kill dozens of other African Americans has been foiled, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said Monday.
Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena, Ark., were charged Friday with making threats against a presidential candidate, illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun and conspiracy to rob a gun store.
In court records unsealed Monday, agents said they disrupted plans that included robbing a gun store and targeting an unnamed but predominantly African-American high school.

RealClearPolitics (RCP) Polls
Gang, this is getting really ugly here, ya know? Yeah, ya, we all have heard that these "polls" should not be taken as "reality", but never before has practically ALL of them said the same thing, eh? By all rights, this whole Election process should end up as an Obama "LandSlide"......uh.....right?
Don't count on that sh_t! There are forces, that are already rearing their heads, (no, not Putin over Alaska!) The GOP is pushing HARD to place clouds over the Electoral Process, meaning, they are gonna dispute votes, in ANY state they can, to cloud the results and "steal" another one. This of course, is not "news", just a "reminder". The "publicans" have no cards left to play, other than voter supression and they will play that card. They have played every other one, some of them more than once and expect them to continue.
Stay the course, Gang. Put your heart on the back burner. Vote for who I think, you already know will be, between the two of these choices, is the better.
As for this Blogger, I support and endorse, Sen. Barack Hussein Obama, for the office of President of the United States.

Another Letter to the McCain Campaign
Sorry to bother you again, as I am sure you guys are busy, trying to keep some traditionally "red" states from turning "blue", failing yet again with the Ayers thing and now trying to tie ACORN to some big FBI investigation for voter-fraud.
Oh yeah, before I forget, you guys DO know what the FBI has found out, right? You know, that the names that some employees' submitted, tho "fake", were simply to get a "bonus" from ACORN, you know, "stealing" from ACORN? Also, that the only thing the FBI could charge ACORN with, to date, is failure to "monitor" its' employees' submissions? You DO know that, right?
Anyways, the purpose of this little note is to ask how you guys are doing with the "Muslim" connection? Seems to me, you guys kind of missed on that one too, eh? Seems to me, that you should gone AFTER the Muslim vote. Any clue, you bunch of political morons, how many Muslims there ARE, in the US of A and every one of them Americans who vote?
Just a bit of RESEARCH, (remember that word?) would have given you a clue, free of charge. Permit me to pass along a single web-site, just one(1) and the lengths this one group has gone to, for Barak Obama. I'll even put up a slide-show, a good one, too, that demonstrates clearly, a group of Americans that you anal retentive bigots missed out on.
Here is the slide show. PAY ATTENTION, RNC Team. The web-site address is on the bottom.
Find more photos like this on Muslim-Americans for Obama
Not a fuckin' terrorist in sight, eh? No "Anti-American" posters/banners, no armed, masked "Freedom Fighters" with raised fists shouting "Death To America!" Kind of looks like any other, non-Muslim site you may find on the internet, yes? Are you wingnuts gettin' a clue here?
Oh, oh....before I forget.....did you catch earlier today, the endorsement of Barak Obama, from none other than Gen. Colin Powell(ret.)? He is a "Big Dog" Republican, yes? Yet, he backs Obama and just about tossed the RNC out on its' ear. He mentioned the preceeding slide-show and specifically, a particular picture. I present said picture, below.
Note the name, note the Awards, remember the dedication American Soldiers "volunteer" to honor and then check the Religious Affiliation symbol at the top of the TOMBSTONE.

This young man, who was 14 on 9/11, gave his life, in defense of America. He was Muslim.
And you guys, "advising" a major American Political Party Candidate for the office President of The United States, have the unmitigated gall to insinuate that anyone who may be Muslim-American, is less American than anyone else.
I cannot nor anyone, least of all you fuckin' wingnuts, can say who will win this Presidential Election. But I can say with some certainty, that many things will be remembered. Keep in mind, that all of us will "reap what we sow".
Take care, in what you "sow".

Here's Another ..."WTF!?" moment.......
She insinuates, that "liberals" (Democrats) are "anti-american". She also calls for the "media", who to date, has been called "biased" for Obama, from the start of this campaign by the RNC, to undertake a "McCarthy style witch-hunt" for these "anti-american liberals", currently in office.
In response, I offer the following quote, from one of the most beloved Presidents this country has ever been blessed with;
"...if by a liberal they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people - their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, their civil liberties... if that is what they mean by a "liberal" then I am proud to be a liberal." ~ John F. 18 days to go
Listen to That One:
Don’t underestimate the capacity of Democrats to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Don’t underestimate our ability to screw it up. I want everybody running scared. Over the next 18 days, other than your family and your job, I want you to make a decision that there is nothing more important than bringing about this change that we need.
He’s right. Volunteer at a phone bank. Talk to your neighbors, family and friends. If you don’t have a sign, get one. Slap a bumper sticker on your vehicle. Do whatever you can.
The GOP knows the electorate in aggregate is a beast driven alternately by fear and hate. We might be in the hope column personally, but let’s not forget that fear (about the collapsing economy, the conduct of the war, the loss of American prestige, etc.) is what’s driving the beast leftward right now.
We’re going to see an unprecedented avalanche of sleaze and lies over the next two and a half weeks; it will be an attempt to drive the beast rightward with hate. It has worked before. We can’t let it happen again.

Normal folks can't make this shit up.....no way!
The loathsome douchebag who included this image in her GOP newsletter actually had the gall to offer up the following “defense”:
The group’s president, Diane Fedele, said she plans to send an apology letter to her members and to apologize at the club’s meeting next week. She said she simply wanted to deride a comment Obama made over the summer about how as an African-American he “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”“It was strictly an attempt to point out the outrageousness of his statement. I really don’t want to go into it any further,” Fedele said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “I absolutely apologize to anyone who was offended. That clearly wasn’t my attempt.” [...]
“I didn’t see it the way that it’s being taken. I never connected,” she said. “It was just food to me. It didn’t mean anything else.”
Are you fuckin' kiddin' me?
The problem is, in fact, that it perfectly reflects the principles and values of the current GOP. No principles. No values. And, hopefully, no future. I want these morally bereft bottom-feeders to rot in it up to their necks (and maybe higher) after November 4th.Ita, Amen!

Losing ground

By Roger Kubarych
There are two dimensions to the crisis — immediate crisis managment and long-term systemic reform.
On the first, both stock market and credit market responses to the seemingly endless string of “fixes” have been uniformly negative. Why? Because the leadership of the Treasury and Fed appeared panicked in warning of immense danger if something is not done immediately. But then when given the authority and money to act, the US Treasury does not act. “We’ll be ready in a few weeks.” Hardly reassuring. Were they incapable of forward planning? In the meantime, the original scare talk coming from Washington has made investors predisposed to believe the worst and nothing has happened to alleviate that concern. Lesson: Don’t say the sky is falling without acquiring a sturdy umbrella — and then opening it.
The second is the important issue of what happens after the crisis simmers down, which it eventually will. There are two diametrically opposite points of view, call them the Greenspan doctrine and the Volcker view. The Greenspan doctrine is that free markets overshoot and there is nothing anybody can do about that. But the good that they do during booms in creating new businesses, houses, etc. outweighs the damage done in the crashes. So don’t re-regulate the financial system.
The Volcker view, as nicely articulated in today’s WSJ, reaches an entirely different judgment. The crisis was man-made, based on reckless risk-taking by the originators of bad debt, and a mix of laziness and purposeful neglect by the buyers of that now toxic paper, conflicted ratings agencies, together with weak and unimaginative financial supervisors (admittedly often constrained by willing accomplices to the whole sordid process in the Congress). So man-made improvements to the financial system can go a long way to preventing another catastrophy.
Foreign official institutions and private investors alike are watching us closely. They are not sure that the US knows what it is doing in dealing with the crisis (example: the Fed knows full well that ratings agencies are a weak link in the system, but how do they propose to condition their radical new scheme to buy commercial paper to unfreeze that market? by credit ratings! As the man said, you can’t make this stuff up.) But the US has shown itself willing to borrow good ideas from others.(Unfortunately, not expeditiously: case in point, the term auction facility came maybe six months after the ECB was successfully doing almost exactly the same thing.)
Of lasting importance, of course, is what we do to put in place a better financial supervisory and regulatory system. The one we have now is broken beyond repair. It is too narrowly legalistic, too nit-picking (ask any commercial bank COO and you’ll get an earful) but misses the big picture, the real risks to the system that are being created. The way forward better be an improvement or our ability to attract foreign capital without onerous conditions will be gravely harmed.

I guess it's time to break out the silver bullets here....
"Obama's blind ambition. When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition. Bad judgment."
McCain campaign video, October 10, 2008The Facts
Bill Ayers has acknowledged that he was one of the leaders of a group known as the Weather Underground, which carried out a series of small-scale bombings at the Capitol and the Pentagon in 1970 and 1971 as a protest against the Vietnam War. He was charged with conspiracy to bomb, but the charges were dropped in 1974 because of prosecutorial misconduct. Over the last two decades, he has been better known in Chicago as an education expert, and it was in that role that he became acquainted with Obama in 1995. The two men served together on the board of an anti-poverty group, and Ayers contributed $200 to Obama's re-election campaign for the Illinois State Senate in 2001.
Read the whole story HERE and let's move on!
John Lewis, We need to be more careful here........
John Lewis aint helping, here's a sample;
"What I am seeing reminds me too much of another destructive period in American history," Lewis said in a statement issued today for Politico's Arena forum. "Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are sowing the seeds of hatred and division, and there is no need for this hostility in our political discourse."
Lewis didn't accuse McCain of imitating Wallace, but suggested there were similarities.
Nope. No help there, but it gets worse;
“As public figures with the power to influence and persuade, Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are playing with fire, and if they are not careful, that fire will consume us all," Lewis said today. "They are playing a very dangerous game that disregards the value of the political process and cheapens our entire democracy. We can do better. The American people deserve better.”Dam right, we do. Better he had kept the "Public Comment" to himself.

The Ayers Connection - No Sale
Sorry to bother you guys, I know it must be tiring, lugging around those huge, enormous brains and the campaign derailing as we speak, but I thought I would drop you a note and let you know what just one(1) "undecided" voter was thinking.
This whole "Ayers Connection" angle, you know, the "Obama has been palling around with terrorists" screech? Well, it's not working. Helloooo? Anybody home? Time for that "Change" ya'll been talking about! Sheesh!
Wingnuts, here is today's new "keyword" for ya; Ready? RESEARCH. It means: KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. It goes along well with; "Put brain in motion before opening mouth." Here's an oldie but goodie; "Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubt." Oh, yeah! That last one was real folksie, eh? Darn Right, it was! (exaggerated WINK)
If you had RESEARCH(ed) this deal, you would have dismissed the whole thing as "irrelevant", as everyone but the "Rabid Right Base" has. It "has no legs"; it "won't fly". It's a damned shame everyone else knows more about William "wacko" Ayers and the GOOD he has done, since his "wanna-be-revolutionary" days AND his tenuous "links" to Obama, than you guys. Imagine that, civic minded grown-ups, getting together and doing stuff for the communities they live in, you know, helping people, making a fuckin' difference, that sort of thing. G-dam terrorists! Even more pathetic and sorry, you wingnuts are running a major political parties' Presidential Campaign! No Sale.
Why not punch some holes in the programs Obama has proposed? Point out how they may not or won't work? What about this bailout deal? Is it working? Will it work? Has Obama helped or hurt the effort? How about preparing Sen. McCain for next weeks' Debate. Believe me, he could do better and their aint no more after this one. How about talking to "undecided" voters, like me, who would rather hear about the fuckin' issues, than a "has-been revolutionary" who, unlike you wingnuts, has grown-up, has a real job and tries to make a difference, where he can?
So, get a grip, guys. Drop this dumb-assed line of attack. It's beneath John McCain's fine record and it's offensive to not only Obama but to many of us out here. We are not that stupid. No Sale.
But, you guys knew all this right? Right? HELLOOOO?!

The Barack Obama Dildo
A Letter to John McCain
We know you are really busy nowadays, with your campaign sliding off into the "political abyss", but hopefully, you'll take a moment to read this brief letter from "undecided" voters. As a group, we ARE the voters you are trying to convince, right? You betcha!
Not all of us "JoeSixPacks" are as politically savy as you have been claiming to be, but we do tend to listen more than you and this current administration think. Oh yeah, before we forget, those real "folksie" titles your running mate has been bestowing on Americans, ya know like "JoeSixPack", "Hockey Moms" and such? Aint working. While the "First Dude" of Alaska may slug down a six-pack every night and get all "warm and fuzzy" when "Alaskan Barbie" winks and smiles, the rest of us who work everyday and suffer through the bullshit you have brought down on our families, we don't need or appreciate being "titled" by St. Sarah Palin. WINK
Sorry, started drifting there, happens when you get old, but you would know more about that, than us.
Speaking of "drifting", Just where the hell is your campaign going? Every day there seems to be a new direction, and new angle. It must be really nice to travel around the country, spending those political contributions like a drunken sailor on shore leave and not have a fuckin clue about where you are going. Those of us in "the middle class", had better have a clue or we "crash and burn" with the next medical bill or missed mortgage payment. We cannot figure out your campaign strategy, so we thought we would ask.
So far, the only thing that seems to be "steady" in your campaign, is to pick on Obamas' thin connection to an aging 1960's wanna-be-terrorist who, if memory serves, talked about blowing up government buildings. Oh yeah, Obama was 8 yrs old when this Ayers guy was spewing anti-war pablum and preaching revolution.
Here are a couple of names that may spark a memory or two. The now deceased Timothy McVey, a real home-grown wacko and shall we mention Bin Laden who is still running around free and no doubt planning more attacks, whom you claim to "know how to get." This has been a recent "revelation", so we shant expect any action on that particular subject until after the election(s).
And see what happened? We end up with you guys.
Senator McCain, Ayers, who is all-grown-up now and a respected member of the Chicago community, and who, truth be told, has more "gravitas" than you do, only talked about a revolution to bring down the US and all it really took was to put you and the current crop of Senators and Congressmen in power, not to mention George "Ball-of-Confusion" Bush. Our fiscal situation is in the toilet, unemployment is up, the value of the dollar is down, our young people are dying in wars you authorized, including that damned "surge" you keep harping on, you pick a Veep who is lucky enough to remember where she is every morning and why, yet all you seem to care about is that Obama knew William Ayers? Senator McCain, Ayers talked about bringing the US down, you and your buddies in Washington, including your "special interest" campaign advisors, went on ahead and did it. Who then, Senator, is the terrorist?
Anyways, John, if we may call you that, the only thing we would recommend is simple. Get a fuckin grip. You don't have much time. Each day you waste, trying to make character connections to Ayers or using Obama's middle name, "Hussein" as a "bad word", only makes Obama's position stronger.
Oh, by the way, in the Islamic World, the name "Hussein" is quite common and respected and using it like you are, may piss-off a few whole countries, something we, as a Nation, might try to avoid. They don't like us very much as it is, remember? Just a thought.
We are sure, Big John, you "know" this already, since you claim to "know" so much, the latest Gallup polls? (Just click the Link, John. It should work, no matter what day/time you try it.) Not good news, eh? Remember, Gallup has been the most accurate, for the past 12 years. You may consider this suggestion, to tell your "high dollar" campaign team/advisors, to look this over and perhaps, maybe, change the direction of your campaign. Just a suggestion.
Senator, we don't have much more to say, save that we will send a letter to Senator Obama, tho we will alter the contents, somewhat. We also plan to write to Gov. Sarah Palin, tho we may consult our Grand-children, for words the Gov of Alaska, will understand.
We and our "middle class" friends across this country, will now return to "watching" what you and your opponent do, for the remainder of this Presidential Campaign. Remember, we ARE listening. "Get a grip", John.

O.J. Simpson is being isolated from other prisoners for his own safety and is focusing on a motion for new trial in Las Vegas and a bid for appellate reversal of his conviction for kidnapping and robbery, his lawyer said. Attorney Yale Galanter said he will continue to pursue a request for Simpson, 61, to be released on bond pending appeal. Simpson will be held in Clark County (Nev.) Because of the seriousness of the charges, it is likely that Simpson, the Hall of Fame running back, would remain in jail during his appeal.- October 6, 2008

2nd Presidential Debate
Sarah Palin is cute as a button!!!
Yesterday, it was reported that the press was being kept away from not only Caribou Barbie, but also her shrinking gaggle of deranged supporters. I guess this explains why [via John Cole]:
McCain had said that racially explosive attacks related to Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, are off limits. But Palin told New York Times columnist Bill Kristol in an interview published Monday: “I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more.”Worse, Palin’s routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric’s questions for her “less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media.” At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, “Sit down, boy.”
Palin could have been a real contender in 2012 if she’d brushed up on, well, everything because, as much as I’m loathe to admit it, her folksy charm connects with a lot of Americans. There’s gotta come a point when even she (St. Palin) realizes that becoming the sneering, high-heel wearing, pin-up pitbull for the most wretched elements of the base of the Republican party won’t bode well for her political future. Or is she really as stupid as many of us have been saying?
Ya think?

Well Said.....Palin Saves Herself; Now McCain Faces Reality
Palin Saves Herself; Now McCain Faces Reality
The good news for Republicans in last night's vice presidential debate is that Sarah Palin saved herself. Sure, her paper-thin grasp of policy issues and reliance on canned talking points was an embarrassment. She was barely able to cope with a question about the gravest responsibility of the presidency--the potential use of nukes. And many of her sharpest talking points--about funding US troops and the fiendish mainstream media--seemed tailored more for a conservative base already supporting her ticket anyway. Still, before an audience that was prepared for 90 excruciating minutes of Miss South Carolina, Palin avoided committing the kind of indelible, viral-on-YouTube gaffe that would destroy her candidacy, as well as her future political prospects. She drew no blanks, made no major errors of fact. There was no "e" on her potato.

So the calls to dump Palin from the ticket will now stop, except among those hardy Republicans who actually care about her qualifications to be president. (President! Remember that's what we're talking about here, not some high-stakes reality show. In theory, Sarah Palin could be signing executive orders, appointing Supreme Court Justices, and even ordering air strikes on Iran by the time Super Bowl XLIII kicks off in Tampa on February 1. The debate's seemingly-cowed moderator, Gwen Ifill, did disappointingly little to bring that scenario to life.) And with her debate prep and the drip -drip of her network interview gaffes behind her, Palin can now return to whipping up conservative crowds on the stump and charming the obsequious hosts of right-wing talk radio.
Yet what Palin did to actually help--as opposed to not hurting--John McCain is a different question. It's hard to imagine that anything happened last night which dims Barack Obama's very sunny prospects. Palin certainly didn't introduce any damning new facts about Obama's record, or even particularly clever new iterations of old ones. John McCain may have gone to bed last night pleased with the thought that Palin didn't melt down. But as Palin would say, that's looking backwards. Ahead of McCain now is a gruesome tableau, mainly consisting at the moment of the financial crisis, still convulsing on the table like a trauma patient, with McCain in the role of a hapless doctor tangled up in his own stethoscope. Given that prospects for a clean House vote on a financial bailout package are still uncertain, the campaign is sure to spend at least a few more days stuck on an issue that eats away McCain's poll numbers like acid. Meanwhile McCain's team is writing off Michigan as lost, and is now placing bets on weird scenarios like stealing away northern Maine's one electoral vote. In recent days McCain's cranky demeanor has increasingly suggested a man with a sense of creeping doom: He refused to look at Obama during last Friday's debate and frostily accepted his greeting on the Senate floor Wednesday night; he snapped and groused at the Des Moines Register's editorial board; and in B-roll footage of his meanderings around the Capitol hallways these past few days, he has seemed to be grimacing with annoyance (a stark contrast to his rival's unfailingly winning smiles). So, yes, Sarah Palin saved herself tonight. But John McCain is the one who really needs to be saved, and soon it will be too late for that.

Still doing the "rounds", gang. More coming......
Bar Stool Economy
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. ‘Since you are all such good customers, he said, ‘I’m going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his ‘fair share?’ They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.
‘I only got a dollar out of the $20′, declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,’ but he got $10!’
‘Yeah, that’s right’, exclaimed the fifth man. ‘I only saved a dollar, too. It’s unfair that he got ten times more than I!’
‘That’s true!!’ shouted the seventh man. ‘Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!’
‘Wait a minute,’ yelled the first four men in unison. ‘We didn’t get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!’
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls , journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

Outta Left Field.....
Oh NO! Not Screen Actors!
Ok, .... I am NOT a big fan of members of the Screen Actors Guild (aka; SAG), that involve themselves in politics. Those of you that know me would acknowledge that I would rather watch a Superbowl half-time show featuring well known female Artists with wardrobe malfunctions and a spoon shoved up my ass, just to make sure I am awake, than listen to a SAG member with a political opinion. I have found an exception to that Rule...... (it happens...)

Matt may be many things to different people, but he sure "nailed-it", concerning St. Palin.
I guess I'll we'll all have to view his next movie.
Biased Veep Debate?
More "Wolf" Ads, NOT a good thing for Sarah Palin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5JZgtYy6oA
Geez, what could possibly show up next? Funny you should ask...... Here’s another, from the National Nurses Organizing Committee/California Nurses Association. The ad goes after Palin hard for everything from Troopergate to the rape kit controversy, to her alleged plan to ban books during her days as Wasilla mayor. Complete with a cheesy faux love song soundtrack, the spot emphasizes that the seventy-two year old McCain’s vice presidential nominee is “one heartbeat away” from the presidency. It airs this week in battleground states Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, and Missouri.
More coming, been on Jury Duty and am catching up here........

Joe Biden Practises his Veep Debate
It's hilarious, if it wasn't really a serious matter. One of these is going to actually be the Veep in a few weeks.
