I pointed out in a previous post that the Republicans were likely to complain about Rahm Emanuel's appointment as Obama's Chief of Staff, on the basis that Obama was reneging on his promise to work across the partisan divide.
They didn't waste any time.
An RNC Memo says "After Promising Change, Obama Selects Hyper-Partisan Wedded To Special Interests As His White House Chief Of Staff".
