If Only.....

As we all swing into the Final Weekend of this Presidential Campaign, there are many Obama supporters, including myself, that wish it was next Wed and this thing was over and "our guy" has won. Include even a miracle, that the Dems/us/We, have a 60 seat majority in the Senate. Could it get any better? Dare we dream? Not!

The problem with this wishing and dreaming, is that it is NOT next Wed and "wingnuts, inc" (the GOP) is not conceding anything and in fact have stepped up their efforts, as to be expected. Now, I know I am the guy around here that puts up the "polls" and such, but in truth if you watch them and track them as I do, you would notice a gradual tightening of this contest, based on the "polls". The National average IS tightening. Not a big change, but noticeable, when you take it all in. Over the last week, McCain has picked up a point here and there and by God, he is closing the gap. By the way, to be fair to all, find today's RCP Polling data here.

Point being, as this campaign approaches "election day", nothing can be taken for granted. Nothing is a "sure thing", least of all this election. I have already voted and I hope you, our US readers have as well. Perhaps you are in the Obama camp but it matters not, really. Just make sure you vote! (for Barack Obama !)

Sorry, that just slipped out!

I have been reading the comments put on here by Eyebee and RussD. They have kept the information coming forward, so you the public can decide who to vote for.

Overall, this campaign has been a lot of back and forth issues. Who is, the best candidate is still up to the people to choose.

A synopsis of what I see here. McCain is interested in having the country move forward on a similar basis as to what is happening now. In all his speeches, in all his media efforts, I have yet to see what he is doing for the average person. He seems to avoid topics that help the average joe.

Obama on the other hand promotes each and every person on a level of, lets get down and build back the backbone of the United States of America.

I hear pride in both their voices.

I hear excitement but I dont hear from McCain the potential solutions that you need to make a country run economically. If there are no homeowners, if there are no jobs, if there is nothing there to help those who really need the assistance then how can a country run. You need the worker bees, the day to day people to be happy, employed, paying taxes, making the economy grow with the result that each of the problems in the country will slowly start to fix or recover. Somehow this issue has been forgotten by MCCain.

Now Obama on the other hand, is encouraging people with the issues, by looking at potential employment, helping people save their home,(which means that pride is intact). It means that the homeowner buys products that retailers sell and the food chain continues to be needed for each level. So if you feed the people, if you give them a job, if you create a pride in themselves, they go out into the world and buy things to improve their world. By doing this you now have jobs to fulfill the purchase, to build the items, to market the items, to make it easy to enrich the economy. Seems to me the issue is going back to the backbone of the basics. If you create a need, the rest will follow. Obama says the people need help, so seems to me, that this means you vote for the candidate that is willing to help you the people of the United States of America take pride in being a citizen. Easy isnt it.

VOTE OBAMA!!!!
